We are looking for people to make frozen meals that can be dropped off at Salem. The meals will be distributed as needed by New Hope for Families to foster families that we serve and support!

Instructions:

• Fully fill 9x13 disposable pans. Desserts and side dishes can be in smaller pans.
• Each meal should feed at least 6 people.
• Can be made fully cooked or uncooked. Cooked meals should be wrapped in at least two layers of aluminum foil.
• Fill out the prepared label and drop them off at Salem on Sunday or during office hours prior to the pickup day. Labels can be downloaded below or picked up at the Next Steps Station.

• Meatballs, mashed potatoes, veggies
• Tater tot hotdish
• Mac & cheese, veggies
• Meatloaf and veggies
• Scalloped potatoes and ham
• Pizza hotdish, veggies
• Chicken broccoli hotdish
• Roast turkey pieces, side dish
• Cheeseburger hamburger helper
• Sloppy joe meat, buns, side dish

Let’s go hiking! Salem Covenant Church invites you to enjoy a piece of God’s creation every second Saturday of the month. Everyone wanting to take part can meet at the listed location at 10:00 AM, and you may hike as little or as much as you like. The trails chosen are suitable for most ages and abilities. Any individuals willing to and/or interested in carpooling should meet at Salem Covenant at least 5 minutes before the suggested leave time to allow carpoolers to reorganize and get back on the road. We ask that you come prepared and leave pets at home.

Salem ladies are invited to a shower to celebrate Juliana’s upcoming wedding with Daniel Van Loon!

Brody and Theresa Burke invite you to celebrate as they formally adopt Lily into their family!

Potluck lunch at 12:30. Come and go as you are able through the afternoon. Bring your own beverage, a dish to share, and chairs. Children may want to bring a swimsuit.
