Let’s go hiking! Salem Covenant Church invites you to enjoy a piece of God’s creation every second Saturday of the month. Everyone wanting to take part can meet at the listed location at 10:00 AM, and you may hike as little or as much as you like. The trails chosen are suitable for most ages and abilities. Any individuals willing to and/or interested in carpooling should meet at Salem Covenant at least 5 minutes before the suggested leave time to allow carpoolers to reorganize and get back on the road. We ask that you come prepared and leave pets at home.

All Salem volunteers are invited to a dinner to appreciate all the work they do for the church! Pastor Joe will take the opportunity to discuss a vision for this ministry year so that all volunteers can be unified in heart and purpose.
New volunteers are also welcome to attend! If you are interested in joining our volunteer team, there are two additional steps we ask you to fulfull:
- Attend the volunteer training night on September 9.
- Attend a six-week Bible study on Wednesday nights from September 16 to October 21. This study meets in the Sanctuary at 6:00 and is led by Pastor Joe.

As we prepare for another school year at Salem, we want to ensure all our volunteers are equipped to handle their roles. Contact your team leader regarding where exactly your team will meet on this evening. If you are on multiple teams, you will have to choose which meeting to attend.
The Safety Procedures training is required for all new volunteers and for any volunteers who did not attend the training in May (or who did not take it online). Volunteers who have not taken this training yet this year will not be permitted to serve in their roles.

Each Wednesday evening during the school year, activities will be available for all ages at Salem! Our evening schedule is as follows:
- 5:00 PM – Community dinner

6:00 PM – Activities by age group
- Nursery – Ages 0–3
- Anchored – Age 3 to grade 5
- Remedy – Grades 6–12
- Adult Bible Study – Ages 18+
- 7:30 PM – Activities conclude
- 8:30 PM – Building closes
