Joe Florestano will be presented to the church as a final candidate for senior pastor the weekend of November 8–9. A full schedule of events with details will be forthcoming, but for now we want everyone to be aware that we are planning a catered dinner followed by a question-and-answer session at church on Saturday, November 8. Please RSVP below or contact the office if you plan to attend the dinner so we can pass along an estimated headcount to the caterer.

There will be a congregational meeting on the evening of Sunday, November 9, to vote on whether to formally call Joe to the pastor position.

Steve and Barb Swanson, retired missionaries to Sweden, will be joining us for the morning to share about their ministry. The congregation then has an opportunity to talk more with them over lunch!

Help pack gift boxes for kids all over the world! We packed 213 boxes last year, and we are hoping to break that record this year. Items will be collected by category on the following dates:

• October 19 – Clothing
• October 26 – Toys and “wow” items
• November 2 – Hygiene items
• November 9 – Art and school supplies
• November 16 – Miscellaneous
