Welcome to the Home Page of the Salem Covenant Church Awana Program
website! At this site you will find helpful information pertaining to
the Awana program at Salem Covenant Church.
In
2006, the Awana Program was started at Salem Covenant Church. Ever
since, the church has been providing a fun, safe environment for kids
each Wednesday night
of the Awana year.
Salem
has continued
to reach children ages 3—18
and parents
this
year through Awana,
since
September 16th.
Awana
is a Bible-based program designed “to help churches clearly and
consistently communicate the good news of Christ and His plan for their
lives, as expressed in His Word, each week of the Awana year, and to
build a biblical foundation that helps them [kids] follow Christ through
adulthood.”

In
Awana, children and youth memorize bible verses and complete exercises,
play fun games, sing songs, and receive prizes for their
accomplishments.
